In my opinion Lefever shotguns are one of the finest shotguns in
existence. "Uncle Dan" Lefever designed a gun that has not been
improved on. This is a very nice Original piece with sidelocks, traces of
colorcase hardening, and blued barrels that are just beginning to show
signs of patina. The bores are mirror bright, the action is tight with no
signs of racking. As you can see from the photos the top snap is still in
the correct position. It is stocked in Quarter sawn walnut with excellent
grain. The butt stock has not been cut down. There are two small chips
on the end of the butt stock and the butt plate is broken. There is also a
crack on the forend piece next to the shoe. This would be an excellent
field gun for upland game. 12 gauge, 2 3/4" chambers, Fluid Steel
barrels, choked modified and full. $900.00
