Mama Rae was a
wonderful Hunter, and
companion. She is
survived by her
daughters Sage and
Cholla. Thank you Mama
Rae for all the joy you
brought to our lives. You
are very greatly missed.
You will always be in our
hearts.
Little Bit was our first
Chocolate. She has
added joy to peoples
lives with the dogs she
has produced and we are
blessed to have had her
in our lives.She has
given us so much.
Mona was all you could
ask for in a Labrador.
She was willing and
ready to please, with just
a touch of mischief
about her.
Gone But Not Forgotten
Most people are fortunate if they have one dog in their life
that is exceptional. We have been blessed to have many.
Here are a few of them.
Sage
My Friend
Lump Gulch MaMaRae
Little Bit
LaMorris' WindRiver Sage
Without our dogs our houses are cold receptacles for things. Dogs make a
fire warmer with their curled presence. They wake us, greet us, protect us,
and ultimately carve a place in our hearts and our history. Our reflection, our
lives are often referenced in parts defined by the all-too-short-lives of our
dogs.
LaMorris' Alpine Breeze
After having to put the family dog down, a couple and their veterinarian were
wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs lives are shorter than humans.
The couple`s  four year old quietly said, I know why. Startled they all turned to
him, and what he said was as profound, as it was comforting. He said, People
are born so that they can learn how to live a good life-like loving everybody all
the time and being nice, right? Well dogs already know how to do that, so they
don`t have to stay as long
Zafari's Teal for Two
Teal was a wonderful
retriever. She was
working blind retrieves
at 100 yards when she
was 4 months old. She
was very loving, and
playful, a joy to be around.
LaMorris' Uno Mas
Uno lived life like she
owned it.  She knew that
the world revolved
around her, and that it
was put here for her
pleasure. She lived every
second to the fullest.
Cholla
LaMorris Milagro de Heurfano
Cholla was an incredible Labrador. She was
the first of our dogs to have a Spanish name
and was named the miracle orphan, after her
Dam " MaMa Rae was poisoned and died
after whelping Cholla.

She has become the foundation for all of the
dogs we have now. She was very loving , we
will miss her.
It is time to pay homage to these three great Labradors. They were part
of the original Lump Gulch Crew and sadly they have all passed on.
Cholla still lives on in her offspring,

Bill:
Chili was special even among
so many exceptional Labs.
Her gentleness and her loving
spirit were a constant
inspiration . Even after being
injured she never complained
and never gave up. Everyone
she met was touched by her,
and she made friends
wherever she went.

Diana:
Watching Bill and Chili
together always made my
heart sing. Chili would smile
up at Bill, and that always
made him smile back, no
matter what.  Her connection
to him was magic.
She was with us, faithful,
happy, and always pleased to
have a new pup around.
She was the best.
